Having everything is not the key to happiness, to have a goal and working to get there, it is!

JUST A THOUGHT

November 23, 2013

Sometimes I look around and I see so much and so little of everything, I like to observe people, the way they act, the way they talk, the way they treat other people. Sometime I get surprised how rude and mean they are, how offensive they can get… That makes me think that sometimes people forget one thing, we all come from the same place, we are going to the same place and we all bleed red, Just don’t ever forget that, just be yourself, don’t hide behind lies to impress others, if you are who you are, people will like you for who you are and not for who you pretend to be. Remember you are not sugar to be liked by everyone, you are just you, a beautiful unique individual

just a though,

Victor

Lady Gaga took a trip into the future on “Saturday Night Live” on Nov. 16.

Playing a senior citizen version of herself, the pop star was shown living alone without the worldwide recognition she enjoys today.

To her dismay the building’s superintendent, played by Kenan Thompson, did not realize who she was and not even the Grammys covering her piano jogged his memory.

She sang bits and pieces of her former hits including “Born This Way,” but still couldn’t garner any applause from the “SNL” mainstay.

Gaga, 27, is often criticized for her undeniable thirst for superstardom and getting the attention of the public by any means necessary.

As a first-time host of the sketch comedy show, she opened by spoofing these criticisms by milking the audiences applause.

“Yay! Give it up for New York,” she yelled to a round of cheers.

“There are two kinds of applause, the kind you earn or cheap applause, which you get by pandering to the audience and saying things like, ‘Give it up for New York,'” she continued. “I am a fan of both and you know what, I wrote a song about it.”

Gaga then launched into a comical version of her single “Applause” off the “Artpop” album.

“I’ll take your cheap applause, applause, applause,” she sang while dancing.

She continued gaining kudos by calling “for the ladies” and those from “out of town.”

The “Poker Face” singer even included “ending childhood obesity” as a way to get audience praise.

Gaga concluded her opening performance with her own version of the classic “New York, New York,” singing about how it’s been a dream of hers to host “SNL” and now she had finally touched down on the legendary stage.

The episode also included sketches joking about Toronto Mayor Rob Ford, who was regarded as a “Patriot, hero, role model” by “60 Minutes'” Lara Logan (played by Kate McKinnon).

There was even an anti-depressant advertisement aimed at politicians, which showed President Barack Obama (played by Jay Pharoah) trying to battle through the harsh criticisms he’s suffered during his second term.

“You’ll feel like you’re giving a speech on a college campus in 2008, or getting Bin Laden all over again,” the ad for Paxil – Second Term Strength indicated.

Gaga closed with a performance of “Do What U Want” featuring R. Kelly.

And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.
