As in ancient Rome, where the Gladiators clashed in front of huge crowds of screaming fans, today we will see the gods of the gridiron inflict their violence on one another in the Super Bowl XLVIII. Traditions of crowds being entertained by mail testosterone induced violence, albeit willingly or not, has been around since the dawn of a manly dominated world. The only difference has been with each passing century the way in which these “games” or “events” take place has evolved with time and aligned itself with what was and is popular at any given time through History. Today we will be witness to such an event when the men of two teams will clash for glory during the Super Bowl with thunderous applause and screaming from rabid fans passionate beyond some peoples understanding. This in the end becomes very similar to the days of the Gladiators, though notably less violent and much more rewarding to the participants, but nonetheless with equal levels of fan following and eagerness to see a champion rise above the rest.
Here is my little tribute to the XVLIII game, my the strongest dominate and win the day!

Still today discoveries continue to be made in Egypt that shed light on their rule and customs and it will continue to intrigue generations to come and maybe one day we will truly know the secrets of the pyramids and the rulers who commissioned these tombs to carry their self-proclaimed Godly divinity into the next world.
Here is a little tribute to that legacy.
